Step 1: Check the wheelchair

Step 2: Help the patient to sit up

Step 3: Help the patient into the wheelchair
Help the patient to sit on the wheelchair, pay attention to protect the operator's body during the operation, pay attention to the principle of force control, the operator separates the front and back, one leg against the patient's leg, puts the patient's hands on the operator's shoulder, and makes force together, let the patient gently press the operator's shoulder, the operator puts his hands crossed on the patient's waist, gets up together, helps the patient to the wheelchair, holds the handrail with one hand, and gently supports the patient to sit on the wheelchair.
Step 4: Assist the patient to sit down
Turn down the foot pedal, put the patient's foot on the pedal, instruct the patient to sit back and lean back, hold the handrail with both hands, if the patient is weak, you can put the restraint belt on, and then release the brake, you can push the patient out of the activity.
Note: When the weather is cold, add clothes to the patient in time to prevent cold. After the activity, the same method can be used to help the patient back into bed.
